Pro-Global Forex was established in 2014 when the business was purchased as a ‘going concern’ from Taquanta Treasury Solutions, a division of a leading & highly reputable investment holding company. The company had been in operation since 2002 providing a host of exclusive professional FX services to South African importers/exporters, high net-worth individuals & SA Expats. The company name was subsequently changed to Pro-Global Forex (Pty) while its service offerings remain unchanged.

The company is owned and managed by Jacky Gounden who acquired a multitude of skills while in the employ of Taquanta Treasury Solutions between 2009 and 2014 and who served as Divisional Director at the time the business was sold to her. Jacky has an unprecedented record of holding senior positions in the foreign exchange departments of both First National Bank and Nedbank, accumulating a wealth of FX knowledge & experience spanning over thirty years. She has an extraordinary passion for FX products and her insights, skills and reputation has earned her respect to such an extent that all clients were retained after the company was purchased by her.
